I have written widely over the past 30 years, mainly on matters to do with sustainable development in the widest sense. You will find an archive of material here.

I  am writing a blog as ‘Lord Muck’ on all things growing and cooking including composting, the weather and random thoughts I have on  life and art relating to these.You can find  my blog on this site, where I hope to post about every 5-6 weeks.

My  book, The Cowley Road Cookbook, a social and cultural history of the Cowley Road area of Oxford through food,  was published by Signal Books in the autumn of 2015.
