A book on a subject that just won’t go away. Debate now swirls around whether nuclear power can ‘solve’ the climate change crisis. I still write on the subject occasionally. For example on my blog on 26 November 2012.
The issue of the link between nuclear power and the proliferation of nuclear weapons is also very current. All commentators for example acknowledge that the Hinkley C nuclear power station makes no sense economically as renewables become so much cheaper. But of course it will produce plutonium to fuel a new generation of Trident submarines. And the electricity consumer will be charged.
